Travel to Armenia. 8 days

Day 1

Yerevan.
Arrival, meeting guests at the airport (in the morning). Transfer. Accommodation in a hotel in the center of Yerevan.
City tour in Yerevan: Republic Square, Mashtots Avenue, Baghramyan Avenue, Presidential Palace, Parliament, University, monuments to Vardan Mamikonyan, Sasuntsi Davit, the area of ​​France, Freedom Square. Complex “Cascade”, Center for Arts Cafescian. We offer lunch in one of the restaurants of the Hrazdan Gorge.
In the evening, walk through the night Yerevan, show fountains in the Republic Square.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Yerevan – Echmiadzin – Zvartnots – Yerevan
Breakfast. Excursion around the city of Etchmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.  Dinner.
On the way back, a tour of the ruins of the ancient Zvartnots.
Excursion to the Yerevan Brandy Factory “Ararat”. Acquaintance with the technology of cognac production. Inspection of the cellars “Alley of Presidents”. Tasting cognac. Dinner at one of the national restaurants.

Day 3

Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Dilizhan – Yerevan
Breakfast. Excursion to Lake Sevan. The lake of extraordinary beauty, located at a level of 2000 m. above sea level and is one of the largest mountain lakes in the world, it is called “the pearl of Armenia”. You will visit the church of Astvatsatsin on the peninsula of Sevan and dine at the restaurant with the gifts of the lake.
Arrival to Dilijan, excursion to the complex Hagharcin.

Day 4

Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
Breakfast. Visit Matenadaran – a repository of ancient books and rare manuscripts. A trip to the village of Garni, where there is a pagan temple and fortress Garni built in the I century. National dinner at the farmhouse in the village of Garni.
A trip to the cave monastery of Geghard of the UNESCO World Heritage Site XIII – XIV 13-14 centuries. The Holy Spear was kept in the church for many centuries, with which the body of Christ was pierced on the cross. Now the Holy Spear is kept in the Echmiadzin Museum. Return to Yerevan.

Day 5

Yerevan – Khor Virap – Noravank – Tatev
Breakfast. Pilgrimage to the monastery of Khor Virap, where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for spreading Christianity. It offers an unforgettable view of the biblical mountain Ararat.
Continuation of the trip towards the monastery complex Noravank (XIII-XIV centuries), which is surrounded by quaint red rocks. The restaurant is Lutch. On the way, stop in Areni with a wine tasting.
Overnight in the eco-complex “Harsnadzor” you can have a delicious dinner at the hospitable hosts.

Day 6

Tatev – Yerevan Breakfast. A trip to the Tatev Monastery – the Armenian Apostolic Church located in the southeast of Armenia, near the village of Tatev near the town of Goris, 280 km from the city of Yerevan. Founded on the site of an ancient pagan sanctuary in the 9th century, the monastery is one of the most important centers of science and Enlightenment in Armenia (XIV-XV centuries).
The path to Tatev Monastery runs through the gorge, the descent to which is very steep. At the bottom of the gorge flows the stormy Vorotan River, which goes to the rocks for several tens of meters. The nature here is mysterious and beautiful. You can get to Tatev Monastery either by car (or by a small bus) through the gorge, or by cable car. The super-modern cable car Tatev is the longest in the world (5.7 km), registered in the Guinness World Records Book. From the cabin of the cable car from a height of 320 m above the gorge, an indescribable landscape of the merging of the sky and the earth opens.
Free time. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Yerevan
Free day in Yerevan.
We offer to visit at your choice: the National Museum, the Museum of the world-famous director Sergei Parajanov. Visit the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide Tsitsernakaberd. Make a purchase of souvenirs at the opening day.
 In the evening, visit one of the famous jazz clubs in Yerevan.
